I desired to look into the place where I had heard of Your saving grace
Where angels sat at the head and feet of where You used to be.
I cried when I could not see Your face, weeping as I found an empty space
Whenever I looked into the perfect Law of Liberty.
Why was it that I could not see You there?
My heart cried out to understand, though no-one was aware.

Then, You spoke to me
And I knew it was the voice of my Rabboni
Even though at first glance my eyes could not see how You sanctify me
Pure Love from above, is my Rabboni.

I sought the One whom my soul did love
Searching for my Forget-Me-Not
But, the One for whom my heart was looking, I simply could not find.
Then, from Your lips, my name was spoken, and the darkness became broken
With the light of truth You poured into my searching mind.
You showed me grave-clothes were no longer Your covering.
You taught me You were covered by another thing

When, You spoke to me
And I knew it was the voice of my Rabboni
Even though at first glance my eyes could not see how You sanctify me
Pure Love from above, is my Rabboni.

Master, now You’ve found me
Do not let me, let You go
For, You are the greatest Teacher my heart has ever known
When You speak to me……….

I know it is the voice of my Rabboni
Coming out of the tomb, newly out of that womb
The bride with the Groom
Pure Love from above is my Rabboni
I know it is the voice of my Rabboni
Coming out of the tomb, newly out of that womb
The bride with the Groom
Pure love from above is my Rabboni
Pure Love from above is my Rabboni!
